Mike and I listened to Mark Riley on the radio last night, because Yummy Fur were doing a session. Mike is working with Jackie and the 1990s, (and before that I made a couple of music videos for them.. check them out on ginabirch.net.). Yummy Fur have got back together to do a few shows and sound great. The excitement of playing old songs again after many years is something I am familiar with. I think if the freshness and attitude is still there, it is a wonderful thing.
Today I am working with Hayley Newman and Kaffe Matthews on our Gluts project, showing them what I have done so far on our film of performances in Copenhagen and we are working on the songs, getting ready to record them in a couple of weeks.

This is my first Raincoats blog. We had a meeting today and discussed all the important issues in the life of a Raincoat, forthcoming gigs, releases, contracts, Big Brother, health and knitting.
